It includes a selection of songs from the most representative young authors of the Macedonian pop music scene: Audio Cigla, Mia Perevska, Dina Jashari, Andreja Salpe, Zee, Young Dadi, Matej Foltz and the already acclamied Slatkaristika. The compilation has a vinyl and digital release.

This is unique stuff, make no doubt about it. Apart from being the only Macedonian live album pressed on vinyl ever (Leb i Sol also did it in 1982, but that was in another galaxy), this is very very cool and unexpected song collection. Dramatic and very unlikely gathering, that only PMGJAZZ can afford in the earth’s northern hemisphere. No exaggeration here at all.

Contemporary, avant guard Macedonian music, recorded live at one of the most authentic and intimate concert spaces Skopje can offer: Audiokultura. Brilliant sound design, meets wide range of fascinating musical talent, meets sophisticated understanding of art by Božinovski watches and jewelry. An honest and authentic investment towards development of a modern Macedonian sonic identity.

You get a lot in the same frame and it is rich and thick and going places and… We don’t know how this happens, we just do it and wonder later. But this makes us happy. Ljubojna: Stela [pmgjazz 025] 2021

This is quite different. Warm and mellow as a summery macedonian afternoon sun. A lot of ethno to it and on a verge of pop. We really like the oddness of it on a jazz label. A music to a film, but pretty much stands on it’s own. Ljubojna are one of the substantial macedonian 21st century ethno jazz bands. This sounds mature and refined. Maybe not every jazzer’s cup of tea, but sometimes, drinking a different cup is the freshest approach. Try it.

2020… it’s been a hell of a year, ain’t it?
We released so much stuff, we even managed to come up with a vinyl. Yup, this compilation is originally pressed on a vinyl, which is finally out.
It tells a story of an authentic and fresh scene, developing in Skopje, Macedonia. PMGJAZZ is at the heart of it. Possessing a great variety of jazz angles, it is deeply enjoyable, and still quite informative of what we do around here. But taking pride in achievements is not our favorite way of spending time. We offer this in our most sincere fashion and move on to new, quality releases, just waiting to be listened. It’s only yours to purchase. Than comes enjoyment 🙂

PMG Kolektiv is our in house band, but also one of the leading and most influential bands in Macedonia’s 21st century. When the do not sabotage themselves, they make hits. They’ve done so much great stuff no one likes, but when they score it is a score. And here you have all them hits by this, let’s say band of brothers. It’s electronic, it’s indie, it’s dark disko, it’s alternative, it’s musical, it’s vocally, it’s smart… well it’s heartbreaking… BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU CAN DANCE TO IT. All the way. So go for it! Kind people know that PMG Kolektiv is not really a band. It is a community. A creative space for daring people. Friends hanging around for 30 years now, taking care of each other, making music and whatever they find challenging. Their 9th L.P. Fraternité is a warm and bold statement right in the face of global clear and present danger. Unusually quiet and almost soft and fuzzy, this album is a musical elevation and a rather adventurous change in their sound. PMGK are developing their own take on contemporary pop. A bit of a Trap/Hip Hop here, a bit of jazzy schlager there and of course their trade mark new wavy electronica, but polished to the point of slow ecstasy.
Fraternité marks a special point in this band’s existence. Maturity’s written all over. The music, the lyrics, the production. Finally 🙂
You gotta love this. I mean if you have at least one honest bone in you body you will.

Nie sme od SKopje // We are from Skopje
is a song that developed as an idea which managed to grow in to a credo for several generations of progressive thinking people in Skopje, Macedonia. In the last 15 years, local musicians scored almost 30 different visions of this song. Some of those became real radio and dance floor hits, some found their way in films… but the idea basically took over and produced unprecedented creativity, which added substance to thee spiritual growth of our city.
This is completely new set of music on the subject. Quite fresh and contemporary. Jazzy, dubby, clubby, electrifying… it will hold your (shorten) attention (span). It will tell you a story about one of culturally most potent and fragile European capitals. It will sing you a song over and over without getting bored.

We should probably treat this song as a prophecy fulfilled, but being reasonable and modest, we will offer it as a new chapter in an ongoing contemplation, above whatever cultural progress we should achieve here in Skopje. A challenge to ourselves so we can do better. We must.

до НЕБОТО замок е јавна, па и отворена дискусија за приватноста. Заокружување на некои животни, а концентрични кругови. Патување в миг, по ќошиња од време-просторот на познати затворени пространства. Блесоци на препознавање, присеќавање, па и проектирање на можни иднини. Разговор со духови кои не баш дека кажуваат нешто особено, но тука се за муабет, другарски олеснувајќи ја трансгресијата од малецок, до замокот на небо што е. Збунувачки чесна приказна за фамилијарни вредности, подгреани со внатрешна топлина и природна селекција која ординира под името љубов. Омаж на еден комплексен сон за опстанок, широко размафтан кон небото, а зацапан до колена во црна земја лесна.
….. ете мал прирачник за момчиња и девојчиња, сосем подеднаков ветер во грб, едноставен императив, мотивациона поезија. Фанатична борба за вашите екстра 5 минути пред зграда. Или вон гроб. Доказ дека сте ја замениле незаменливата, барем во кујна, од сите можни места во домот. Ново лице за архаичните просеравања покрај Вардар, или во било која просечна македонска патријархална зандана. Па обвиткување себеси со магнетно поле од современост, колку да не те фати клетва – носталгија, пу пу пу #контрамагија оп! Ода на староста – ок – зрелоста, пријателството и размена на свест на највисоко ниво: приватен естетски тест за двајца-тројца. Можеби малку отповеќе нежно по скалите нагоре, но барем ритамот по кој се движи оваа афера е војнички строг.
Уште еден ПМГ повик за танц, можеби малку со себе танц, но сепак танц: Е ТОА Е ОНА ШТО НЕ ИЗДВОЈУВА од глупата гужва.
