When starting Robotek was a legend in the making, as well as PMG Recordings. Some of the music on this album become e real life soundtrack for the era on the turn of the millenium here in Macedonia and this very release was an essential mile stone in building our label’s profile. This music definitely stood the test of time and still sounds fresh and full of life.

Anna Michaels & Yordan Kostov Quintet: Abstract Attitude [pmgjazz 020] 2020

Anna Michaels…
was born in Shanghai, China. After coming to the US she worked extensively in the Theatre both in Los Angeles & New York having founded Theatre Rapport and being involved in over 2 dozen productions as both an Actor and Director. Anna is a member of Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild, & The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

Anna has also been teaching at the New York Institute of Technology in New York City where she is currently Professor of Behavioral Sciences. Anna also has extensive experience teaching English both in China and the United States and is herself fluent in three languages. In the past few years Anna has been a guest Poet at several venues in New York City including New York University and CUNY as well as Poets House and for Poets and Writers. On January 4th 2010, Anna will be a Featured Poet at “Shakespeare and Co. Books” in Paris, France. Anna’s poetry has been published in the US, Canada, and Europe, including Great Britain.
