Millko

Saso Mitrevski – vocal, guitar
Filip Popovski – bass
Stefan Terpini – drums

“Millko” was born in Autumn 2006 in a dark and very filthy subterranean premise in a Skopje suburb. “Millko” is the result of a joint idea that was developed by way of imagination and a need for musical expression of individual, hidden, intimate emotions. Two thirds of Millko are separated parts from their tissue, the “Nicotine,” having continued their musical path within “Millko,” which was as a logical and legitimate inheritance of “Nicotine.” “Millko” is their temporary shelter, way of living and way of facing reality. Asked about their musical expression, “Millko” said: “Can one define something which represnts a sublimate of emotions, life experiences, influences, events transformed into a format named music. Can one express in words let alone define something that is so beautiful?”

Bernays Propaganda

Kristina Gorovska – vocal
Vasko Atanasoski – guitar
Dzano Kuc – drums
Nenad Trifunovski – bass

Macedonian band BERNAYS PROPAGANDA could be shortly described as danceable newwave/post-punk band with charming female vocal. But don’t be misleaded, we are talking here about extremely political band influenced by a variety of bands, from Submission Hold over Fugazi all the way to the Gossip and Gang of Four. Firm drum beats accompanied with thick and groovy bass lines are the base upon which layers of funky and broken guitar chords are placed, and above all comes unique, strong and remarkable female voice as a cherry on the top. Were lunatic enthusiasm, bursting energy and catchy atmosphere already mentioned?(Maybe because BERNAYS PROPAGANDA is deeply rooted in d.i.y. hard core scene).

Now, free your mind to free the world. Extract the bad toughts, forget the bad feelings, only the good can guide you to the righteous path. The border, the war, the fake values… this is just a mirror image created to lure you to something you dont want… All this time… We are just destroying this world. The world where I live and where you live… Where we are killing each other… Where we kill someone because someone told us that he is our enemy… Are we blind? Or we close our eyes in front of the face of truth… WAKE UP!!!

3 Minutes In The Rain

Ron Ripley – vocals, guitar
Ivan Kocka – bass, vocla
Ian Straaf – drums, vocal
Mark Purpose – keyboard, studio

Established in Bitola in the early 2004, they grown to be one of the most promising macedonian indie bands of the last decade. Singing about heroic acts of the common/ordinary people in everyday events, with brave simplification of the arrangement techniques and using as inspiration influential movements as pop art, punk, post punk and new wave, bauhaus, cubism – they’re putting together the pieces of their act. Went little bit quiet after releasig of their (too) long awaited debut album, but defenetly one for the future.
